2100 Series Scalable VPN and Security Gateway

The 2100 series is a complete dial-up network gateway for small to medium sized businesses. It provides secure Internet access for the entire office, Virtual Private Network (VPN) access that securely connects multiple sites and mobile workers, faxing from the desktop, and direct dial access. Furthermore, ePipe delivers all this at speeds that rival leased line connections, without the costly infrastructure and call charges of traditional Wide Area Networks (WANs).

The ePipe 2100 series is designed for sites that plan to access the Internet using PSTN or ISDN connections. The 2100 series consists of 3 models:

ePipe 2148

the 2148 provides 4 serial ports and an 8 port 10BaseT LAN hub. It is ideally suited to new small branch offices, small businesses that may not yet have an established LAN. The 2148 is also suited to temporary remote work teams that need an instant LAN and access to other sites within the organization. The 2148 delivers scalable Internet and VPN bandwidth of up to 256 Kbits/sec by transparently bonding up to 4 PSTN or ISDN Internet connections.

ePipe 2188

The 2188 provides 8 serial ports and an 8 port 10BaseT LAN hub. It is suited to larger branch offices and small to medium businesses without an existing LAN. The 2188 delivers scalable Internet and VPN bandwidth of up to 512 Kbits/sec by transparently bonding up to 8 PSTN or ISDN connections.

ePipe 2181

The 2181 provides 8 serial ports and a single 10/100BaseT LAN connection. The 2181 is suited for sites with existing LANs. The 2181 delivers scalable Internet and VPN bandwidth of up to 512 Kbits/sec by transparently bonding up to 8 PSTN or ISDN connections.
